Radley London - Personalized Wallets (Copy)

Brand: Radley London

Event Type: Influencer Gifting

Activation: Personalize wallets and card holders with foiling

Radley London held a Valentine’s themed influencer event in Santa Monica at Esters Bar and Wine. Every guest had the opportunity to select from a wide range of wallets to get personalized with their name or initials, and a choice of a lettering style.

We used gold foil to match the gold hardware that was on all of their wallets. Some guests even opted to have their bag tags personalized with their initials. It’s always fun to provide content creators with a filming moment when I peel away the foil for a “foil reveal”.

Radley London - Retail Monogram Painting

Brand: Radley London

Event Type: Retail

Activation: Hand paint monograms on wallets and handbags purchased by customers

Customers love custom personalization because it adds a bit of character and makes their item one-of-a-kind. As items are mass produced, customers love the idea that their bag or wallet is distinctively his/her own because his/her name is on the product.

While many online retailers offer printed monograms on their leather goods through a machine, printed monograms is not normally offered in stores because retailers have limited space in their stores. For that reason, hand-painting by an artist is a beautiful way to add a custom monogram in a store that only requires the space for a table and a chair for your store activation.

I was genuinely surprised that every customer that made a purchase at the Radley London store for their aninversary event, wanted the custom monogram painting that I offered. I displayed a swatch of the various color choices and the alpha-letters that were available to the customers. I hand-painted wallets and handbag tags based on the customer’s requests.

My painting set-up with signage, sample, and painting/lettering choices.

I paired pink to represent the customer’s favorite color with gold to match the hardware.

I used fun colors from the wallet design for the client’s monogram.

This customer wanted the monogram to blend in with the bag, so I used gold (to match the hardware) with a black outline.
